Miami, FL — (January 17, 2017) Trivest Partners is pleased to announce that Todd Jerles has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Principal, effective January 1, 2017. In addition, Brian Connell and Amir Mirheydar have been promoted to Principal, also effective January 1, 2017. These promotions further exemplify the breadth of talent and experience of the internally-grown Trivest team.
Todd Jerles joined Trivest as a Vice President in 2008 and was previously promoted to Principal in 2011. At Trivest, Todd leads numerous activities including the management of Trivest’s accounting and finance departments, robust deal marketing programs, fundraising activities and annual initiatives including Trivest’s Investor and CEO Conferences.  In addition, he is responsible for identifying strategic acquisition targets, evaluating investment opportunities, deal execution and portfolio company management. Todd currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ellery Homestyles and Pelican Water Systems and works closely with National Carwash Solutions. Prior to joining Trivest, Todd was a member of the healthcare investment banking groups of Lehman Brothers and LEERINK Partners in New York.  He received his B.A. in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Indiana University and M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Brian Connell joined Trivest as a Vice President in 2013. At Trivest, he is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including investment sourcing, transaction negotiation, deal execution and portfolio company management.  He serves on the Board of Directors of IDMWORKS and Pelican Water Systems and works closely with Onepath and Columbus Recycling. Prior to joining Trivest, he worked at Lehman Brothers in investment banking and at General Electric as a member of the Corporate Staff on strategic initiatives across its financial services, plastics, medical systems, energy and aerospace business units. Brian received his B.S. in Computer Science and Finance from Boston College and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Amir Mirheydar joined Trivest as a Vice President in 2014. He is also responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including investment sourcing, transaction negotiation, deal execution and portfolio company management. Amir works closely with Xpress Retail, Dauenhauer Plumbing and SR Sales. Prior to Trivest, Amir worked in private equity at Sun Capital Partners and investment banking at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. Amir received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University.
